The NAKMAS National Governing Body's national black belt certificate is an authentic black belt certificate and is a legal document.

It is A3 (297 x 420 mm) onto a hammer finish thick card, gold foiled borders, logo and flags with the rest of the certificate being three colours (red, black and grey).

The certificate bears the NAKMAS UK and the NAKMAS USA logos tinted in the background, together with the NAKMAS seal in the middle. The British Standards Institution kitemarks for quality, both the United Kingdom and the United States of America versions, also sit proudly on the certificate.

The black belt certificate is authorised by the NAKMAS National Governing Body as the only authorised and legal black belt certificate within the NAKMAS National Governing Body.
